I aspire to create thoughtful and innovative experiences with the combination of design, business, and research.
Since childhood, I’ve been fascinated about solving problems - Sherlock Holmes was my childhood hero, and it was fascinating to learn the various tools and methods he used to inspect, analyze, and arrive at meticulous deductions.
Moving to United States at sophomore year of high school, I realized that even though words can be translated easily, different audiences can still understand the meanings in various ways based on their language or lived experiences.
I started to learn the ways that a problem can be under-defined for finding proper solutions. Combining my interests in social sciences, technology and problem solving, I pursued dual Bachelor’s degrees in Information under the User Experience Design pathway and a Master's degree in User-centered Agile Developmentat the University of Michigan.
Outside of academics, I work with peers to create campus-wide dialogues on how technology and society intersect through events, community-based projects, and curriculum advocacy. Collaborating with peers to build technology for non-profit organizations taught me that it's always better to give, and a team always goes further than an individual.
